These tracks come from a Massive Attack V. Mad Professor cassette called Dubs (5th Tape)

Transferred to chrome type 2 metal cassette from DAT sent to the offices of Virgin Records ~ 1994.

Listed for sale on the second-hand market for the first time in 2023, its latest buyer shares it with us with Mad Professor's agreement.

Two demo tracks originally intended for the album Massive Attack V Mad Professor - No Protection released in 1995.

Each track lasts about 20min.

1. Weather Storm (dub)
2. Cool Monsoon (new bass & drum)

The transfer from tape to digital format was done in a professional transfer A/V transfer facility in Los Angeles.

The transferred track was then split into 2 unedited tracks @ 16bit FLAC.

Quality faithful to the original recording. Maximum pleasure.

Many thanks to B.N. (the buyer of this cassette who wanted to share it with the fans), to Mad Professor for his free distribution agreement as well as to the participants of the kitty put online to cover the costs of the studio's services.

Just imagine if these outtakes made it into EATEOT, the project would've been over seven hours! I love how "I Might Be Vanishing" is a stark contrast from other tracks, being only nine seconds. 913GA
